Combined Schools Concerts are operating in accordance with NSW Health Guidelines and our COVID Safety Plan. To ensure that we keep everyone as safe as is reasonably possible, we provide you with all the measures we have in place and what to expect when you are involved in the Combined Schools Concerts as an audience member, a school or a performer.
COVID Information
IF YOU ARE UNWELL, STAY HOME
Do not attend the theatre if:
- You have a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the last 7 days or are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test.
- You are unwell with any symptoms of COVID-19 (including cough or sore throat) at the time of attending or have been unwell within the previous 72 hours.
If you or someone meet the above criteria, please do not attend the performance. You should stay home and follow government guidelines.
SHARE INFORMATION WITH YOUR PARTY
If you are the ticket purchaser, you will receive pre-arrival emails from Combined Schools Concert, sharing this and other important information with you. Please be aware that only the ticket purchaser will receive these emails, so be sure to forward the communications to everyone in your party so that they are all aware of what to expect on their visit.
What To Expect On The Night
As we work together to ensure the Combined Schools Concerts are a COVID Safe event, the below outlines some measures you can expect on your upcoming visit.
CAPACITY LIMITS & SEATING CONFIGURATION
Under NSW Health, Combined Schools Concerts are selling tickets up to our full 100% of its capacity for all performances. This means that there will not be physical distancing within the auditorium, and you may have patrons sitting directly next to, in front of, and behind you.
ARRIVAL TIMES
Our foyers will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the show.
Remember to drop your children off at your allocated ‘drop off time’ at your allocated ‘meeting zone’. Your meeting zone is communicated via your school.
AUDITORIUM ACCESS
Our auditorium doors will open 30 minutes prior to show time to allow plenty of time for you to move safely to your seat. We ask that you move swiftly to your seat and no congregating is permitted in the foyer. Meet all members of your party outside well prior to your ‘drop off time’ or ‘theatre entry time’.
NO CLOAKROOM
Please only bring handbags and satchels that are smaller than an A4 piece of paper to the theatre.
THEATRE BARS
The auditorium refreshment shop will be open. The momentary removal of masks for consumption of food & beverage is permitted. To assist with crowding in the foyers, we ask that once you have purchased your items, and make your way to your allocated seat for consumption.
CASHLESS
All of our outlets are cashless, and we can only accept contactless payments at our refreshment shop.
SANITISE, SANITISE, SANITISE
Sanitising stations located in the theatre for your use. Please make sure to use these regularly during your visit.
Bathrooms are stocked with soaps and continuously topped up.
CONTINUOUS CLEANING
Theatre foyers and auditorium receive a deep clean after every performance.
VENTILATION WHERE POSSIBLE
Windows and doors will be open where possible to maximise ventilation and we will maximise mechanical ventilation.
SAFETY OF PERFORMERS
Capacity limits are strictly adhered to and all performers and backstage members must be seated whilst in holding rooms.

AT THE END OF THE SHOW
At the end of the performance, we will be exiting the auditorium row by row. Once you have exited the theatre, we ask that you promptly move away from the exits and towards your allocated meeting zone. Your meeting zone is advised via your school.
Combined Schools Concert is a free dance showcase for Primary schools in Sydney. Each year, our concerts celebrate arts education in NSW schools and allow students from multiple schools to come together and demonstrate their dance talents in a spectacular platform.
